When I want donet only one place comes to mind and that's babos, the amount of places I have been too no one comes close to the quality and quantity you get from this place. The baklava is also another gem no one comes close, absolutely perfection. I travel 1 hour one way to come just to eat here when cravings set in I don't hesitate.

A friend took me here for the first time and it was amazing!! The food was great! It was my first time having this type of food and the man was very kind and explained everything to me 5/5 for service! Then when we ordered, the portions were huge!!! I got the meat combo plate and my buddy got the wrap, both tasted fantastic. The price point to quantity/ quality is huge! I would 100% go back there anytime and I would also 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to try it out! Amazing!

Should be able to give Babos 100/5 stars. I’ve been going here for over a decade and it’s one of the best go to small family restaurants in Toronto. Do experience their food, it’s always fresh and delicious. It’s worth the travel too.
This restaurant has the best food/shawarma EVER! The meats are juicy. Beef and chicken. Staff 10/10 super friendly and helpful for my first time visit . The medium plate is already huge! With the amazing price. Def will be back and highly recommended
Great doner place. Friendly staff. Nice dining hall. I came here for a quick snack and got the beef doner plate. It came with some rice, the expected beef, green and red salad. They added a few sauces on top. This dish was satisying but not as great as other well-known doner places like Istanbul Shawarma or 2 Brothers Shawarma. Beef was more like stir fry. Rice was somewhat bland. But it was above average. I had a chicken wrap last year and that was excellent. The staff was very nice. The interior is nice and quiet and tidy. There is covered gazebo style dining hall which is nice. Overall a great spot
I got the Chicken Doner Plate which came with salad, rice, bread and chicken topped with garlic sauce and their hot sauce. The hot is sauce is not hot at all for me but that’s a personal preference. I also got the Baklava and Bulbul Tatlisi which I feel is essentially the doughy part of the Baklava in a spiral. Everything was delicious, the portion size is just amazing for 15. Will definitely go there again!
